Who we are

We started by identifying a problem: every health care organization manages pharmacy medication configuration in similar ways. Each organization creates their own in-house policy and procedures for updating medications with new clinical decision support - sometimes supported by technology and other times not. We wanted to go farther by creating a solution that gives organizations the ability to encode their standard procedures into automatable software that is built for interoperability.

AblooMed exists for one reason: improving efficiency and safety of pharmacy practice in health systems by creating tools that improve health system collaboration.

    Through experience as an informatics pharmacist and leader in health care organizations, I felt we were missing an opportunity to do more across organizations in how we leverage technology. AblooMed exists to create a forum linking software development directly to informatics teams so that we can share best practices in decision making and design with lessened burden.
